Kenneth, Christian and Truman had a campout last weekend. I was looking at the weather, it was going to be really cold. I tried to talk Kenneth into taking an extra sleeping bag. He was sure he wouldn't be cold. Then he mentioned that he thought there might be rain. I told him that rain at 28 degrees is called snow. He laughed at me.
The boys loaded the van in the afternoon and picked Kenneth up and took him to the church. I threw in a sled as a joke.
The next morning, I got a message with this picture of Kenneth sledding (the speech bubbles were added later by one of my children).
When he got home he said he sure wished he had listened to me and took that other sleeping bag. It was cold!!!
